Press release: Hillberg and Berk

Since 2020, CCGSD has developed a partnership with our friends over at Hillberg and Berk, a proud women-owned Saskatchewan jewellery company located on Treaty 4 Territory; the original lands of the Cree, Ojibwe, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakoda, Lakota, and on the homeland of the Metis Nation.
We are so grateful to announce that over the last two years, the sale of H&B’s Prism Sparkle Ball has raised $37,000 for 2SLGBTQ+ youth across Canada. With the support of H&B, we were able to implement more youth-focused programs and educational workshops across Canada as well as continueto play a collaborative role in building a national movement for 2SLGBTQ+ rights.
Partnerships like these make our work possible.
This past year, we were able to work with 100 schools and 26 school boards to deliver 250 workshops to 10,000 youth across Canada.
This Giving Tuesday, we are asking our community to support us in creating more safe and affirming spaces. Commit to creating an environment for 2SLGBTQ+ youth leaders to flourish so we can reach 20,000 youth by 2024!
