Our mission is to build a future without discrimination for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and communities. We work with schools and youth to teach comprehensive sex education, queer history, and about the intersection of our identies to ensure that queer and trans youth don’t feel alone.
Our educational offering shares knowledge with youth, educators, and youth supporters to address gaps in education around 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their experiences.
Our workshops & trainings
In-School Workshops: As part of our core educational programs we create and deliver workshops in schools for youth in Grades 4 to 12 in order to fill the gap in school curriculum on 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC identities and experiences.

Professional Development: Inclusivity Workshops and Training Program
Note: We only provide professional development to those that work directly with youth such as Educators in the K-12 and PSE system, School Boards and youth serving organizations.
The Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD) offers inclusivity workshops and training (workshops, trainings, resource development, presence as panelists) in alignment with its mission and committment to to build and empower gender and sexually diverse and advance awareness and rights of these communities in an effort to create a better world free of discrimination.
The workshops and training are available to organizations of all sizes across sectors that work directly with youth.
These professional development services are outside of our core programming delivery, providing free workshops and programming to youth.

The CCGSD is currently developing workshops in partnership with community experts and marginalized folks interested in sharing their lived experiences. The presentation of these workshops is subject to each community member’s availability and unique requirements.
