Pride season is just around the corner, and we’re super excited to be hosting an event that’s all about YOU! We’d like to take this time to thank each and every one of you, for supporting our organization and contributing to our success over this past year. Whether you are a community partner, attendant of our conferences, a volunteer, or just a member of the community who wishes to get to know us better, come on out and enjoy a FREE barbecue, hosted at Strathcona Park (25 Range Road) near the Aztec play structure, from 5-8pm on August 20th, 2019. We’ll be serving up some tasty food, and giving away some goodies as well (including LUSH soaps, and some plants!) If this event sounds appealing to you, fill out the Google Form below so we know you’ll be there!
We’d like to acknowledge that this event is being held on unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin peoples.
ACCESSIBILITY: Strathcona Park is located in the Sandy Hill area; there are stairs used to get to the park, but there is a paved road alongside the park (Range Road) that can be used to access the park as well. Gendered bathrooms are on-site, as well as water fountains. This area is almost entirely grass, and we will be providing some form of picnic blankets; should folks wish to bring there own, feel free as we will have a limited supply. Should someone require a folding chair and cannot supply their own, we would love to do that for you, as long as we are notified in advance. please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further accessibility inquiries or to request a blanket or chair(s).
Can’t wait to see you there!
