On Thursday October 1st, Cameron and Holly visited Elizabeth Wyn Wood Alternate to present two life-skills workshops. During the workshop, several students felt comfortable enough to identify themselves as Queer and brought their personal realities into the discussion. We talked in-depth about biphobia and bierasure within the LGBTQ community, society and media, as well as representations of bi people in television. We would like to thank Jamie and Suzanne for having us in to present and this marks the 4th year that Team Education has worked at Wyn Wood. We would also like to thank the students who came out during our presentations for their bravery.
