Last week Team Education managed to schedule some much needed office time, although Cameron and Rhube both found opportunities to collaborate on community projects, outside the office. On Tuesday March 15th, Cameron delivered a guest lecture on sexual politics to an Introduction to Social Movements course at Ottawa University and he would like to thank Dr. Liam Kilmurray for the opportunity. The workshop outlined Queer Canadian history in the 20th-21st centuries and highlights the lasting impact of colonialism, HIV, and the Canadian War on Queers still have on contemporary society. Team Education managed to meet on Wednesday to plan out future presentations and Rhube attended the graduation of the Right Bike program on March 17th. Overall, it was an easy week for Team Education and enabled them to prepare for future presentations around the Ottawa Valley.
