On April 12th and 13th Mel and Shannon presented anti-queerphobia workshops and a consent workshop to students at Ridgemont high school. All of the students had great questions and generated very productive conversations about how they can work to address homophobia and transphobia in their school and communties. In the consent workshop, students learned about making and asserting personal boundaries. The students challenged ideas and came up with positive ways to challenge various issues, it was a great brainstorming session! Mel and Shannon also took an impressive picture in front of Ridgemont’s rainbow flag!
