Position Title: Day of Pink Coordinator (Paid)

Position Objective:  To manage with the planning and executing the International Day of Pink and community events at (including the Day of Pink Gala). Part-time (2 days a week, paid position)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Create resources and tools for the Day of Pink
  • Manage Day of Pink kit and button orders
  • Manage coop students and volunteers
  • Network with to business, union, community and political leaders
  • Engage schools and youth communities in the participation of the Day of Pink
  • Help organize regional events for Day of Pink
  • Fundraise for youth Day of Pink projects
  • Assist with developing the tool kit
  • Assist with recruiting presenters
  • Assist with writing media advisories and press releases
  • Assist with the development of promotional materials

  • At least one year experience planning, organizing, and executing events
    • Familiarity with working with youth in schools
    • Familiarity with youth friendly organizations
    • Knowledge working with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
    • Bilingual (French & English) 


  • Remuneration will be based on experience & skills
