Two positions are now available at Jer’s Vision’s growing team, a Program Manager and an Education Coordinator!
Jer’s Vision is seeking a Program Manager with at least 1 year of experience in volunteer coordination, youth engagement, event organizing, and STBBIs prevention. The HepC Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the employees and volunteers assigned to programming, training, and outreach on the Dare to Stand Out: Educating and Engaging Youth in Taking Action on Hepatitis C, STBBIs, and Promoting Better Health Practices in Their Community Forum. The HepC Program Manager is responsible for all relevant reporting and evaluation requirement.

Jer’s Vision is also seeking a bilingual Education Coordinator with personal experience of LGBTQ+ communities and a passion for social justice. The ideal candidate must also identify as a “youth”. Prior work experience and education are an asset, but not required. The Education Coordinator will be part of a pair of Coordinators that are responsible for working with a team of volunteer educators. Team Education is responsible for booking and presenting anti-homophobia, anti-transmisogyny, and anti-transphobia workshops in schools in the Ottawa Valley, as well as coordinating outreach at community events.
