International Human Rights Day (Dec 10)

In partnership with the Kingdom of the Netherlands & Movies that Matter, we are delighted to invite you to the film screening of PRIDE for International Human Rights Day on December 10.

First proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1950, the day of action seeks to bring the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the attention of the peoples of the world.

“”I call on States to honour their obligation to protect human rights every day of the year. I call on people to hold their governments to account. ”
UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon

This year’s theme is Human Rights 365, and seeks to change our mindset to look at Human Rights as part of our daily lives.
The film will include a word from his Excellency Ambassador Nolke and a community fair.
