Congratulations to Angie, 2016 Jeremy Dias Scholarship Winner!

Professional PhotoWe received many excellent applications for our 2016 Jeremy Dias Scholarship, but Angie Kim was the leading candidate! We at the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity congratulate her on her amazing social justice work. We know she will go on to do great things as she continues her work with a degree in Public Policy and Philosophy!

Angie is a politically-inclined, social justice-minded first-year student at Brown University, where she is currently exploring her interests in philosophy, mathematics, physics, and public policy. She is inspired by the idea of creating a better, more equitable world, informed by the different aspects of her identity. In her free time, Angie enjoys doing crossword puzzles, reading, drinking tea, and cooking.
